How strong and long-lasting the scent is depends on how much of these chemical compounds are present. On the other hand, perfume oil, which is also called fragrance oil or attar, is a very concentrated form of scent that has few or no alcohol and a lot of aromatic substances. This makes the smell stronger and more clean. Focus: The amount of aromatic substances in a smell is a key factor in how strong it is and how long it lasts. When compared to scents, perfume oils have a lot more of these substances.
